The M.A.D. Film Festival is a fundraiser event to help the Michael Cuccione Foundation in finding a cure for childhood cancer. Our 2009 event raised $12,000!
We are proud to be the only film festival in Canada where 100% of our net proceeds are donated to the Michael Cuccione Laboratory for Childhood Cancer Research at the Child and Family Research Institute at BC Children’s Hospital. To date we have raised over $37,000 for the cause!
The goal of this film festival is to increase the awareness of the individual “Making a Difference” while keeping Michael’s talent and love for the stage and screen alive. The M.A.D. Film Festival is a thrilling film making challenge where teams have 72 MAD hours to complete a 5-minute, edited film. M.A.D. Participants are required to follow a particular criteria use their own equipment, and be original and creative in their concepts. Are you MAD enough? |
