What a spectacular event. The Canadian Tire Family Fun Zone was like Christmas in July! They donated over 5 skids of toys for the kids to win through the many games. The children did not go home empty handed but with huge smiles on their faces. Alfredo Valente and his amazing volunteers together with the Whitecaps players showed the kids the time of their lives. The Border Services and Port Moody Police teams along with many other friends and family played in the soccerfest all day making a difference for the children battling cancer. The Whitespot burgers weramazing and was the fuel to keep all going throughout the day! We are blessed to say that $67,000 was raised to help the children. Every last dollar will go to the Michael Cuccione Laboratories at the Reseach Institute at BC Children's Hospital and partial proceeds to the Whitecaps Foundation.
